The one that matters
Do not trade on these numbers. GrainsMap is a reference and planning tool, not a market data service. Prices here are official published statistics, or a cost model built on them, and they are often days old. Check your own sources and your own counterparties before committing to anything. We accept no liability for trading decisions.
Where the numbers come from
Every figure carries its source. Broadly:
- Official - published by a public body, such as the European Commission's weekly cereal prices. Reused under their terms, with attribution.
- Modelled - our landed-cost build-up (origin FOB + freight + handling + basis). Labelled as a model, because it is one.
- Indicative - a catalogue reference value, shown only when nothing better exists, and marked as such.
Where no source we are licensed to republish covers a location, GrainsMap shows no price for it rather than borrowing a number from somewhere else. An empty field is an honest answer.
Your account
One account per person. Keep your Google account secure; anyone who can sign in as you can act as you. Tell us if you think your account has been misused.
Acceptable use
- Do not scrape the site, and do not share a paid account.
- Do not try to break, overload or circumvent the site's limits.
- Do not republish substantial extracts as your own dataset - much of the data is reused from third parties under terms that do not permit it.
Paid plans
Prices at GrainsMap's hubs are available by subscription; the map, routes, catalogue and calculators are free. Plans and prices are on the pricing page.
- Reseller. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders, and handles customer service enquiries about payment and returns. Paddle's buyer terms apply to the purchase.
- Renewal. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Cancel any time from your account menu (Manage subscription); it takes effect at the end of the paid month.
- Founding price. The first 25 subscribers pay the founding price for as long as their subscription stays live. If it ends, the seat is released, and a later subscription is at the price then offered.
- Price changes apply only from a future renewal, and are announced by email at least 30 days before.
- Refunds follow the refund policy.
- Coverage. A subscription includes every price we are licensed to show. Coverage varies by region and can change when a source changes its terms or stops publishing; a subscription does not promise a price for any particular location.
Availability
This is a small independent project. It is offered as is, with no uptime guarantee, and may change or stop.
Law
Portuguese law applies.
